We manage on and off-street parking enforcement in the borough. To do this we have Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO) that describe any parking restrictions in detail and provide the legal basis for parking enforcement.
Amendments are made to these orders as new parking controls are introduced.
Parking orders are divided into 2 types:
- off-street (car parks)
- on-street (eg double yellow lines)
Orders may be processed by either Kent County Council (KCC), usually as part of the road adoption process or for highway safety reasons, or Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council for other purposes and in our car parks.
Off-street (council car parks)
On-street
Confirmed on-street TROs for our borough can be found on Traffweb. It is currently not possible to consult on proposed changes on Traffweb, or to show proposed parking restriction changes on Traffweb.
