Council tax charges 2016 to 2017
We collect council tax to pay for Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council services and also on behalf of Kent County Council, Kent Police, Kent Fire Rescue Service and parish councils.
In 2016-17 the figures were:
- the borough council's requirement for a band D property at £192.51 - just under 53p per day
- for Kent County Council at £1133.55, just over £3.10 per day
- for Kent Police at £152.15, just over 41p a day
- for Kent Fire and Rescue Service at £72.00, just under 20p a day
