Check what goes in your green box
Use your green recycling box for:
- cardboard boxes, packaging and sleeves
- junk mail
- paper and magazines
- phone directories including yellow pages
- shredded paper (put other paper on top or in a paper bag or cardboard box to stop it blowing away)
- white envelopes
Do not put these items into your green box:
- clothes or textiles
- glass
- household rubbish
- plastic
- tissue paper
