An update on the Local Plan consultation was provided to the Housing and Planning Scrutiny Select Committee - Tuesday 17 March 2026. This included a presentation on the consultation, the responses received as well as next steps in the Local Plan process. You can view the comments received via the link below.
We will continue to consider consultation responses and carry out further technical work where required to inform the next stage of the process, known as Regulation 19. A final version of the Local Plan will be published for consultation before submission to the Government for independent examination.
