Memorial testing August 2023

Every five years, we carry out churchyard and cemetery inspections to ensure gravestones and memorials don’t pose a risk to visitors. The checks include examination of any leaning memorials and cracks in stonework. Any hazards identified are then made safe.
The locations we inspect are:
- St Peter and St Pauls’ Churchyard, Tonbridge
- St Stephen’s Churchyard, Tonbridge
- Tonbridge Cemetery

Inspections are next due to take place in August 2023. Public notices are on display at each site and are available to view at Tonbridge Castle, Castle Street, Tonbridge, Kent, TN9 1BG. View public notices.
