Tonbridge Cemetery is located close to the town centre. It was opened in 1858 and covers 14 hectares with approximately 14,000 grave spaces. The chapel within the grounds dates from the 1860s. A memorial garden features vaults for the interment of ashes, a memorial wall and a rose garden for the scattering of ashes.
