Current status of bin collections
Due to the ongoing icy conditions, some roads are proving difficult to access safely for our collection crews.
We have alerted Kent County Council so that they can try to get some additional gritting done in the areas affected.
If your waste, recycling or food waste is not collected on the revised Christmas scheduled day, please leave your containers out and the crews will get back to you as soon as they can.

Christmas and New Year collection changes
Waste, recycling and garden waste collections will run on schedule up to and including Wednesday 24 December. They will change from Thursday 25 December over the festive period. All collections will be back to normal from Monday 12 January 2026.
Clinical waste collections will continue as normal on the usual Tuesday collection day over this period.
Report a missed bin
If your bins have not been collected but your neighbours' have been, report it using our online form.
Do not report missed collections by email. Our online form goes straight to the contractor so this will speed up the process. You will receive an automated acknowledgement once you've sent your form.
