'Supported my career development'

Jenny Knowles, Principle Planning Office (Policy)

It's an exciting time to join our policy team as the new Local Plan takes shape and we progress towards submission in 2025. Whether you are interested in housing, infrastructure provision, the environment, heritage or design, joining the Policy Team will allow you to develop a wide range of skills and help to shape the future of the borough.

I have worked for TMBC for 17 years and the council has supported my career development from Planner through to Principal Planner over this time. The councils flexible working policy allows me to balance work with family commitments, and opportunities for learning and development are fully supported.
