Clarion Housing Association has a new housing development in Kings Hill which includes 112 homes for rent and shared ownership. This is a mix of one- and two- bedroom apartments, and two, three and four-bedroom houses. 

We have nomination rights to the rented properties managed by Clarion and have agreed a local lettings plan (LLP) with them. Under the agreement we will:

  • prioritise applicants with a local connection to Kings Hill ward and West Malling and Leybourne ward
  • allocate 50 per cent of lettings to economically active households
  • consider suitability or medical need for ground floor flats

Available homes will be advertised through the Kent Homechoice Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme for households on our housing register to bid for.

Clarion will contact households who bid for homes to prioritise shortlists in line with the lettings plan.
