If you are homeless or at risk of being homeless, you can find out what support is available. We can give you help or advice if you're homeless or at risk of losing your home.

Visit Kent Homechoice to find out what help you might get

If you're not at immediate risk of homelessness but are struggling with your housing costs, you may be able to get extra help with a Discretionary Housing Payment .

If you are eligible for support

We will invite you for an interview to assess your situation and work with you to find accommodation. We will draw up a personal housing plan (or PHP) for you which sets out actions for you to take to try and help your situation.

In the meantime, we will work with you to find accommodation. This might be a home in the private rented sector, supported housing or accommodation with family or friends who might let you stay. It is very unlikely that you will be made an offer of social housing.
