A local lettings plan (LLP) explains how affordable homes on a specific development will be advertised and allocated, alongside Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council’s Housing Allocation Scheme.
This LLP applies to the affordable homes at Castor Park (also known as Woodland Place), Aylesford (planning references 19 00376 OAEA and 23 01522 RM), which are being delivered by West Kent Housing.
The development includes 106 affordable homes:
- 48 for rent.
- 58 for shared ownership.
Some homes are accessible and will be prioritised for households with a medical need.
Homes for rent will be advertised through Kent HomeChoice. Priority is given to applicants with a local connection, particularly to Larkfield ward or Aylesford South and Ditton ward. The plan also aims to support a balanced community by prioritising around 50% of lettings to economically active households.
