We are planning to replace the skate park at Tonbridge Farm (Longmead) Sportsground. Before we go out to tender, we want to hear from local residents and park users to help shape what the new facility should include.

Have your say

We want to hear from everyone – whether you’re a skateboarder, BMX rider, scooter enthusiast or roller-skater. People of all abilities are encouraged to share their views, from complete beginner to experienced rider.

Your feedback will help us to create a facility that meets the needs of the whole community.

Consultation dates

The consultation opens on Monday 9 March. It will run over the Easter school holidays and close on 5pm 17 April 2026.

What we are consulting on

The consultation will help us develop our requirements for the replacement skate park, before the project goes out to tender. We are asking for feedback on what matters most to users, such as:

  • who uses the skate park and when
  • the types of wheeled sports you do (skateboard, BMX, scooter, roller-skates)
  • the features you would like to see included
  • access, safety and the overall layout

What happens next

After the consultation closes, we will review responses and use the feedback to inform the tender requirements for the new skate park.
