We are consulting on our draft Statement of Licensing Policy 2025 – 2030, which sets out how we will carry out our responsibilities under the Licensing Act 2003.
This policy outlines our approach to licensing premises that sell alcohol, provide regulated entertainment or serve hot food and drink late at night. It aims to promote the four key licensing objectives:
- The prevention of crime and disorder
- Public safety
- The prevention of public nuisance
- The protection of children from harm
We are seeking feedback to help shape the final version of this policy. Your views are important and will help us ensure the policy continues to support a safe and vibrant local economy.
