Increase in on-street parking charges
As part of the review of fees and charges for our services we are proposing to increase on-street parking charges, to reflect the increasing costs of the provision of services.
On-street proposals across Tonbridge and Malling
On-street Pay and Display
- Up to 30 minutes, an increase from 70p to 80p
- Up to 1 hours, an increase from £1.40 to £1.60
- Up to 2 hours, an increase from £2.50 to £3.20
- Up to 3 hours, an increase from £3.40 to £4.80
On-street 'Pay by Phone'
- Up to 24 hours, an increase from £1.80 to £2.00
Resident parking permits
- 1st permit per household, an increase from £52 to £57 per year
- 2nd permit per household, an increase from £52 to £57 per year
- 3rd permit per household, an increase from £104 to £114 per year
- 4th (and more) permit per household, an increase from £156 to £171 per year
Resident parking permits, non-UK registered vehicle
- For six months, an increase from £26 to £28.50
Business parking permits
- An increase from £200 to £250 per year
Visitors 24 hour vouchers
- For 10 vouchers, an increase from £12 to £14
Dispensations dispensation permits
- PM for property maintenance vehicles (valid in any Tonbridge residents permit bay), an increase from £200 to £250 per year
- PMY for property maintenance vehicles (valid in any Tonbridge residents permit bay and on yellow lines where loading and unloading is not prohibited in Tonbridge High Street), an increase from £200 to £250 per year
- THB for vehicles carrying out regular cash banking activities (valid on yellow lines adjacent to banking facilities where loading and unloading is not prohibited in Tonbridge High Street for a maximum of 20 minutes), an increase from £200 to £250 per year
- Commercial purposes (such as building works), an increase from £15 per day (60 per week) to £18 per day (70 per week)
