Appendix 1: Fee schedule

Prices inclusive of VAT.

Inception meeting: £1,354

An inception meeting is required before the developer can enter a PPA. The final decision to progress a PPA sits with the council. An Inception meeting will discuss and agree the following:

  • Develop structure and content of PPA
  • Agree project vision and objectives
  • A work programme setting out key deliverables (milestones) and responsibilities. Including at what stage a planning application will be submitted.
  • A work programme setting out key deliverables and responsibilities
  • Identifying key issues for consideration to follow through into individual topic area meetings in the PPA
  • Scope the requirements and cost to the developer of external advice

Small: £6,290:

  • residential units: under 50
  • commercial floorspace: up to 2,500 sq.m
  • meetings: up to two*
  • member briefings: none**

Medium: fee £8,802:

  • residential units: 50 to 99
  • commercial floorspace: 2,500 to 4,999 sq.m
  • meetings: up to three*
  • member briefings: up to one**

Large: fee £12,230:

  • residential units: 100 to 249
  • commercial floorspace: 5,000 to 9,999 sq.m
  • meetings: up to four*
  • member briefings: up to one**

Strategic: fee £19,874 (where a design review is agreed as necessary this is paid for separately):

  • residential units: 250+
  • commercial floorspace: 10,000 sq. m
  • meetings: up to six*
  • member briefings: up to two members site inspection**

Small to strategic - discharge of conditions

  • one to five conditions: £905
  • six to 10 conditions: £1,219
  • eleven and above conditions: £1,718

Additional

  • *additional topic area meetings: £1,302 per meeting 
  • **additional member briefings (Teams):  £546  per meeting
  • additional meeting briefing (Council Chamber): £1,736 per meeting (strategic only)
  • additional meeting site visit briefing: £1,769 per meeting (strategic only)
