Free to enter Christmas market and Alpine bar
This Sunday (26/11/23) sees the opening of a magical light trail at historic Tonbridge Castle.
Illuminate is a family-friendly event that will feature a variety of captivating lights and installations to get visitors into the festive spirit in a unique historic setting. The event launch is co-timed with the Tonbridge Christmas Festival which sees the town centre host a funfair, stalls and fireworks over the castle.
Light trail sessions start from 4.15pm until 9pm and it is recommended to allow up to 45 minutes to take in the full trail. Ticket prices start from £13 for adults, £9.50 for children aged 3-16 and infants under two go free.
The Illuminate trail is one of several seasonal attractions at the castle. Christmas at the Castle will also feature a market and plenty of food and drink options. The Christmas Market at the Castle is in association with the TN card and features 30 local businesses, which makes it easy to shop local this Christmas. Inspired by Après Ski, The Alpine Bar offers seasonal food and tipples alongside live music and entertainment to create the perfect festive atmosphere. Both the market and bar are free to enter.
