We want your views on the redesignation of the borough of the council's street trading policy.
The current policy and designations have been in place since 1992. It covers three areas of the borough:
- Tonbridge town centre
- Bluebell Hill area
- Hadlow village
The rest of the borough was not included. This means they have no restrictions and we are not able to issue consent or regulate those who are trading.
Following a meeting of the Licensing and Appeals committee on the 14 June 2022, we are now consulting with:
- residents
- local businesses
- current street traders
- parish councils
- borough councillors
- other Kent authorities
to get your views on the proposed re-designation and the draft policy.
