We want your views on how we use Tonbridge Castle and grounds. Considered one of England's best examples of a motte and bailey, our castle is a tourist attraction, heritage hub, culture centre and events venue. How do you think we should use it in the future to meet the needs of the local community?

We're running the review of Tonbridge Castle and grounds in three stages:

  1. 2022: understand the needs of the community through consultation
  2. 2023: agree future plans and develop implementation strategy
  3. 2024: put plans in place

This consultation ended 31 July 2022.

The outcome of the consultation was reported to Cabinet on Tuesday 8 November 2022 (item CB 22/103).
