Town and Country Housing (TCH) have 10 homes in Carpenters Lane, seven provided at social rents and three provided as shared ownership.
We have nomination rights to these rented properties managed by TCH and have agreed a local lettings plan (LLP) with them. Under the agreement we will:
- prioritise applicants with a local connection to the wards of Hadlow and East Peckham, Downs and Mereworth and Wateringbury
- aim to let 50 per cent of lettings to economically active households
Available homes will be advertised through the Kent Homechoice Choice Based Lettings (CBL) scheme for households on our housing register to bid for.
TCH’s lettings team, in conjunction with our housing solutions team will contact households who bid for homes to prioritise shortlists in line with the lettings plan.
