A Local Lettings Plan (LLP) explains how affordable homes on a specific development will be advertised and allocated alongside Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council’s Housing Allocation Scheme.
This LLP applies to the 156 affordable rented homes delivered as part of Phases 1 and 2 of the Whitepost Field development at Hermitage Lane, Aylesford, known as The Poppies. The homes are managed by Park Properties Housing Association (PPHA).
The development provides 156 affordable rented homes including a mix of flats and houses of different sizes.
Homes for rent will be advertised through Kent HomeChoice. Priority will be given to applicants with a local connection to the immediate area of the development, particularly to the wards of Larkfield or Aylesford South and Ditton.
The Local Lettings Plan aims to support sustainable lettings on the development while also helping to meet local housing need. It sets out how applicants will be prioritised and how homes will be allocated.
