Go green go paperless

There's lots of good reasons to switch to getting your council tax bill by email rather than paper:

  • no more rushing home if you're asked for a bill as proof of identity
  • peace of mind, knowing your bill can't get lost in the post
  • less paper through your door
  • less clutter in your home
  • less for you to shred and recycle

It only takes a few minutes to set up - here's your step-by-step guide:

  1. register for an online account – you’ll need an email address
  2. once you’re registered, visit 'My account' and click on 'Council tax options'
  3. confirm your council tax details – you’ll need you council tax reference number which is on your bill
  4. opt for paperless billing
  5. get your next bill straight to your inbox
