- The online planning records contained within the site at present is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal Land Charges Search or formal request to search the Planning Register. We cannot guarantee the data and cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from the Public Access system.
- The information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision or form part of the Planning Register. As such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer's own risk.
- Under normal circumstances the plans and documents associated with new planning applications will be able to be viewed within 5 working days of receipt of a valid application. If documents are not available you may wish to try a few days later or alternatively you will be able to view the application and associated documents at the council's office during normal office hours (at Kings Hill or Tonbridge Castle for applications in Tonbridge, Hildenborough and Hadlow).
- Under the Local Government (Access to Information Act 1985 and the Freedom of Information Act 2004) your comments will be made available for public inspection at the Council's offices as well as being available for viewing online.
Plans, drawing and material submitted to the Council are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act). You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes; to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans. Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.
