You have the right to speak at Area Planning Committee meetings if you have made written comments on the application. Only material planning considerations can be taken into account by the Committee. The right to speak does not apply to reports relating only to:
- enforcement matters;
- the making of Tree Preservation Orders;
- cases where the Council is only consulted by other Planning Authorities under their statutory powers and will not be making the decision; or
- any other business of the Area Planning Committees.
You will NOT normally be able to circulate written materials, notes or photographs at the meeting except for documents that were submitted as part of your original written comments.
