LDF Submission Stage - Consultation now concluded

Development Plan Documents - Consultation

Following public consultation on the Preferred Options in the autumn of 2005, submission drafts (September 2006) of the three Development Plan Documents (DPDs) that comprise the first tranche of the LDF have been prepared.

The first tranche of DPDs comprises:

  • Core Strategy
  • Development Land Allocations
  • Tonbridge Central Area Action Plan (CAAP)

These three DPDs, along with the Sustainability Appraisal of Significant Changes to the Preferred Options (June 2006), (see below for downloadable copies) were available for public consultation until 5.00pm on Friday 13th October 2006.

The consultation period has now concluded.

The DPDs are available for inspection at the Council's offices at Kings Hill, Tonbridge Castle and at libraries (for information) throughout the Borough.

Proposals Map (758 kb)A Draft Planning Brief to facilitate development in the Botany Area of central Tonbridge, pursuant to Policy TCA11 in the TCAAP, has been prepared.

Three Technical Notes have been produced that provide further detailed useful information in support of the transportation elements of the TCAAP. These three Technical Notes should be read in conjunction with the transportation strategy of the Action Plan. LDF - Supplementary Planning Documents and Other Policy Documents.
