Conservation Area Appraisals
Introduction
A Conservation Area is an area of special architectural or historic interest.
The objective of a Conservation Area Appraisal is to analyse and record the special character of the Conservation Area.
Bullen Corner Conservation Area Appraisal
Following consultation during the Spring of 2011, the Council adopted the Conservation Area Appraisal for Bullen Corner in June 2011.
Cobdown Farm Conservation Area Appraisal
Following consultation during the Autumn of 2011, the Council adopted the Conservation Area Appraisal for Cobdown Farm in November 2011.
Hadlow Conservation Area Appraisal
The Borough Council undertook a review of the Conservation Area at Hadlow in 2010 and prepared a new Conservation Area Appraisal.
Boundary changes approved and new Conservation Area at The Freehold designated
Following consultation during the Autumn of 2010, the Council approved changes to the boundaries of the existing Conservation Area and the new Conservation Area at The Freehold, Hadlow on 17 February 2011.

Hildenborough Conservation Area Appraisal
Boundary changes approved
The Borough Council undertook a review of the Conservation Area at Hildenborough in 2010 and prepared a new Conservation Area Appraisal.
Following consultation during the Autumn of 2010, the Council approved changes to the boundaries of the existing Conservation Area on 17 February 2011.

Holtwood Conservation Area Appraisal
Following consultation during the Autumn of 2011, the Council adopted the Conservation Area Appraisal for Holtwood in November 2011.

Following consultation during the Autumn of 2011, the Council adopted the Conservation Area Appraisal for Larkfield Church in November 2011.
Quarry Hill Conservation Area Appraisal
Boundary changes approved
The Borough Council undertook a review of the Conservation Area at Quarry Hill, Tonbridge in 2009 and prepared a new Conservation Area Appraisal.
Following consultation during the summer of 2009, the Council approved changes to the boundaries of the Conservation Area on 3 November 2009. The Conservation Area Appraisal was adopted on 18 November 2009.

Tonbridge Conservation Area Appraisal
Boundary changes approved
The Borough Council undertook a review of the Conservation Area at Tonbridge in 2008 and prepared a new Conservation Area Appraisal.

Following consultation in the summer of 2008, on 14 July 2009 the Council approved changes to the boundaries of the Conservation Area.
On 8 April 2014 the Council approved a further change to the Conservation Area boundary to include land in the vicinity of Haydens Mews

Tonbridge Conservation Area Street Furniture and Surfaces Guide
In July 2009 the Council adopted the Tonbridge Conservation Area Street Furniture and Surfaces Guide. The Guide has been approved in order to encourage the most appropriate designs and materials for the public spaces within Tonbridge Conservation Area.
