Completion Notices

A completion notice is served by us on the owner of the property and determines the date when works on a newly erected property, or certain major structural alterations to an existing property, are deemed to be complete. The notice may be served up to three months in advance of the anticipated completion date. The property will be entered onto the valuation list from the date of completion shown on the notice. Any objection to the date should be addressed to us, however if an agreement cannot be reached, an appeal can be made to the Valuation Tribunal.
