Residents' feedback helped shape design

A new website offering improved online services from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council launches today.

The site has been redesigned to be easier to navigate with better access to everything from council tax and car parks to live events and licensing. Improved features include:

  • An integrated sign-in process so residents can see all their relevant information, including bin collection dates, council tax bills and benefit claims all in one place
  • Quick links which make it easier to report issues, make applications and pay bills
  • New-look forms for hassle-free online transactions from your computer or mobile
  • A modern, intuitive design which makes finding information and completing tasks more straightforward

Residents with existing accounts will be asked to re-register the first time they log in to the new site. This will ensure records are up to date and enable access to a full suite of personalised information.

Cllr Martin Coffin, TMBC's Cabinet Member for Finance, Innovation and Property, said: 'Residents told us they wanted our website to look better and be easier to use. Their feedback has helped shape our approach which is all about keeping things simple and making digital the default option for interacting with the council.

'The new site also offers great potential for ongoing improvements, making it more convenient for users to complete everyday tasks while also supporting our continuing drive for internal efficiencies.'
