Young people aged 8 - 16 years can now sign up to a range of Easter holiday activities in Tonbridge and Malling, which are being provided by a host of groups across the borough and co-ordinated by the Borough Council.
This year the Holiday Activities Easter programme runs from Monday 8 April to Friday 19 April and is packed full of fun for the Easter holidays, including archery, climbing, pottery, cooking, animal care, bushcraft, fresh water angling, boxing, tennis, abseiling, bmxing, high ropes and much more.
Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council has co-ordinated the activities with local schools, colleges, leisure centres, coaches and instructors, bringing together an innovative programme which gives young people the opportunity to try activities that may not be available to them otherwise.
Here are full details of all the activities on offer. Alternatively, the Holiday Activities Easter 2019 brochure is out now and available at schools, libraries and leisure centres. Bookings must be made with each individual activity provider using the contact information in the brochure.
Cllr Maria Heslop, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Community Services, says: “Once again this Easter holiday there is a great variety of activities and courses available for children and young people to try something new or improve their existing skills. Booking for all sessions is now open so I hope that lots of young people will be signing up and have fun throughout the holidays.”
Costs vary depending upon the activity and many of the activities include a discount for Leisure Pass holders to ensure that as many young people as possible can take part.
