Volunteers are invited to come along to a community litter pick at Martin Hardie Way in Tonbridge on Saturday 15 September. Anyone who would like to help should meet outside the shops on Martin Hardie Way, Tonbridge, TN10 4AF, at 11:30am.

Cllr David Lettington, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Street Scene and Environment Services says: “It would be great to see as many people as possible join this group of litter-picking heroes, so please come along and spend a couple of hours outdoors helping to clean up the local area. We would like to collect as much litter as possible and keep our local environment looking clean and as litter-free as we can make it."

All litter picking equipment, including litter pickers, gloves, high viz tabards, handi-loops and re-enforced green sacks, will be provided by Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council as well as a free waste collection from Veolia. Weather appropriate clothing should be worn.
