On 9 July 2019 Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council declared an aspiration to be carbon neutral by 2030.
In line with this, we have launched a consultation on proposals for reducing emissions from our fleet of taxi and private hire vehicles over the next nine years.
We encourage everyone, especially taxi operators, companies and drivers to submit their views for councillors to consider when finalising our air-quality strategy.
This consultation closed on 31 December 2021.
