Most Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted in England. However, the virus remains a serious health risk and it is important to stay cautious and help protect yourself and others.
- social distancing has been eased and there are no limits on the number of people you can meet. Meet outdoors where possible and let fresh air into homes or other enclosed spaces
- face coverings are no longer required by law. However, Government expects and recommends people to wear face coverings in crowded areas such as on public transport. Some shops may also require customers to wear them
- there are no longer limits on the number of guests at weddings, civil partnerships and funerals
- nightclubs can reopen and there is no requirement for table service in pubs and restaurants
