Civil Enforcement Officer
Salary up to £18,735 pa plus generous leave, career average pension scheme, and easy parking.
Based at Kings Hill, ME19 4LZ
37 hours per week over 5 days with shifts varying between 7 and 8 hours per day. These will involve some evenings, alternate Saturdays and occasional Sundays. The current earliest start will be 7:00 am and the latest finish will be 8.00 pm.
You will patrol, both on foot and by vehicle, to enforce the various Parking and Traffic Orders in a professional manner in accordance with guidelines and procedures provided, offering advice to customers on all parking matters as appropriate. You will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) in Maths and English and have the ability to attain a level 2 Parking NVQ if you do not already hold one. It is essential that you have working experience of face to face contact with the public, have the ability to operate a hand held data device, and are able to undertake independent travel around the Borough.

We require a well organized person who is able to work as part of a team at our offices in Kings Hill. The hours of work will be from 1700 hours to 1930 hours on Monday to Friday and from 1630 hours to 1830 hours on Friday. The tasks are varied and will include cleaning the toilets, vacuuming carpets and stairwells and polishing metal fittings.

Waste & Enforcement Support Officer
Salary up to £10,681 per annum for 18.5 hours per week
Based at Kings Hill, West Malling
You will be responsible for providing support across a range of contract performance monitoring, health & safety and enforcement related functions undertaken by the Waste & Street Scene Team. This will include recording and maintaining data and providing management reports to support effective budget control, key performance monitoring and our enforcement role. You should have good communication skills, be organised and be capable of working on your own initiative and as part of a team. Previous experience of working in a contract monitoring and/or environmental enforcement role is desirable.
