Head of Planning

Salary up to £62,019pa

Assistant Parks Officer

Based at Tonbridge Castle, TN9 1BG with occasional days at Kings Hill, ME19 4LZ
Salary range from c.£17,277 to £18,549 pa
2 year fixed-term contract

You will be involved in assisting in the management and supervision of Council's Ground Maintenance Contract; assisting in the day to day management of all parks, open spaces, sports grounds, horticultural features and play areas provided by the Council in the south of the Borough; and assist in the management of Tonbridge Cemetery.

You will be qualified to at least HND/Degree level, or equivalent, in Horticulture or a relevant related subject, and have experience of grounds maintenance.

Summer Playscheme

Temporary from 3rd  to 21st August 2015
Monday to Friday (part time)
£6.50 - £7.92 per hour depending upon job role

The Summer Playscheme will run for 3 weeks during the school summer holidays for children aged 4 to 11 years old. We are looking for out-going staff with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility to work at Playscheme Centres across the Borough.  There are vacancies for Area Supervisors, Centre Managers and Deputy Centre Managers, Playworkers and Support Assistants. 

All candidates must be over 18 as at 3rd August 2015 and will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check, and to have their references taken up before the start of the scheme. A recognised childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.

Closing date: 31st March 2015
Interviews will be held during early April.
