Equality and diversity

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council believes that diversity is a strength. We want to make sure that people are able to reach their full potential and that our services meet their needs. The Equality Act 2010 requires the Council to publish information to demonstrate how we are complying with the Public Sector Equality Duty and to prepare and publish equality objectives.     Equalities - assessment and consultation

    The purpose of an Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA) is to improve the work of the Council by making sure it does not discriminate and that, where possible, it promotes equality.

    Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council have published aims and commitments in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.
