Summer Playscheme

Do your children get bored in the school summer holidays? Do they drive you mad? If you are vigorously nodding your head, then find out more about the Summer Holiday Activity Programme co-ordinated by the Borough Council in partnership with other providers.

Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council's Playscheme is a great way of having fun over the long summer holidays. It is packed with exciting activities for children aged between 4*-11years, such as art and craft projects, competitions, games and a variety of sporting activities.

*Available to 4 year olds who have attended Primary School full time since April. (Terms 5 & 6)

The SUMMER PLAYSCHEME is operated weekdays 9am - 1pm during the first four weeks of the school summer holiday. We will be operating 14 sites this year . Each centre will run themed programmes each week with a professional workshops for the young people to enjoy. Activities on offer will range from T-shirt dyeing to mosaic modelling.

 'Playscheme Plus' is available to children with additional needs or learning disabilities who have 1:1 support at school. Your child will be able to access the scheme as long as 1:1 support is adequate to meet their needs. The scheme will run in the same way as the Summer Playscheme but the children will be offered 1:1 support workers.

Brochures should be available from June 2009. Make sure you return your form quickly as places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
