9am start for bus passes

Kent County Council has announced that bus passes can now be used from 9am across Kent and Medway.  This includes companion passes although the person accompanying the pass holder may only travel free of charge for jouneys starting in Tonbridge and Malling. 

Glass bank recycling collection delays

We apologise for the delay in collecting glass from some recycling banks across the borough.  This is due to the theft of one of the Council's specialist recycling collection vehicles. We are expecting delivery of a new vehicle next week when collections should return to normal and ask residents to bear with us over the next few days.

The draft Conservation Area Appraisal is now available for public comment.

Consultation on Leisure & Arts Strategy

Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council has launched a consultation process inviting the local community to comment on the first draft of the Leisure & Arts Strategy 2008 - 13.

A to Z of waste

The Council has created a new online list of how to recycle, compost or dispose of more than 150 different types of household waste.

Tonbridge Castle Festival of Music and Fireworks

The music festival returns on Friday 11, Saturday 12 (sold out) and Sunday 13 July. Tickets online or by calling 0871 271 6149. Just announced - Jazz star Peter Grant joins Sunday's line-up!

People's voice for health care

Have your say on health services across West Kent with a new Health Network. Local people can go along to a Heath Equality event on Monday 16 June to share experiences of the NHS and help identify the health needs of the community.
