Saturday Household Waste Service

Please refer to the schedule below for the next scheduled visit of the Saturday Service.

This service is provided for disposal of general household waste only. Commercial or trade waste will not be accepted as part of this service.

The following items cannot be collected by the Saturday Service:

• Electrical items - including fridges & freezers; cookers, washing machines, etc; TVs, computers or monitors. (These can be collected by the Bulky Waste Service)
• Builders' waste, concrete and similar waste
• Vehicle parts - including tyres, engines or batteries
• Oil, paint or other chemicals
• Asbestos
• Plasterboard
• Soil, rubble or bricks
• Glazed windows or toughened glass
• Water tanks, boilers, iron/steel baths

Large items (such as bed bases and wardrobes) should be broken down in advance as these may damage the freighter mechanisms if placed into the vehicle whole.

Please do not leave any waste unattended at the site as this will not be collected and will be considered fly-tipping which can lead to enforcement actions being taken including fines of up to £50,000 or a five year prison sentence.
