Tonbridge Castle Festival of Music and Fireworks will take place during the weekend of the 23,24,25 July at Tonbridge Castle, Kent. The event is organised by promoters, Musical Associates (UK) Ltd in partnership with Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council. All concerts are picnic style and end with a fantastic firework display.

 

 

 

Friday 23 July - How Sweet It Is.
'How Sweet It Is' is the ultimate celebration of the sweet sound of MOTOWN! This stunning live show combine's first class music together with the slickest choreography and an amazing band to deliver truly outstanding performances for the best MOTOWN experience you will ever have. Over 50 Golden Years of MOTOWN music are remembered featuring songs from legendary artists such as The Temptations, Diana Ross, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, The Jacksons, Mary Wells, The Isley Brothers and many, many more. Let's 'Get Ready'... to 'Go Loco...Down In Acapulco'..... and have you dancing 'All Night Long'.

Saturday 24 July - Strictly West End.

'Strictly West End' brings together two of the Nation's favourite entertainment genres in one exciting evening. The magic of the musicals coupled with the beauty of the ballroom. The WestEnders are well-known for their inspiring vocal arrangements. Imagine these together with the passionate dance of the Tango in Evita, the energy of the Jive in Hairspray and the elegance and romance of the Waltz and Quickstep with Gershwin and Porter to name but a few! Les Miserables fans will not be disappointed as the evening culminates in a dramatic and rousing finale of the world's most popular musical. An evening with West End performers and champion ballroom dancers. In one night you cannot fail to be thrilled, uplifted and transported into a whole new world.

Sunday 25 July - Magic of the 80's
So many hit songs, so little time... it's the fabulous Magic of the 80s show. Featuring an incredible 40 hit songs from the decade the discovered Boy George, Madonna, Blondie, Bon Jovi, Wham!, the Eurythmics and the Human League - to name but a few legendary artists. Whether you're young, young at heart or old enough to know better, The Magic of the 80's tribute show is the perfect party night out for everyone. The Magic of the 80s authentically recreates an era when the music was as fabulous as the dress sense was ridiculous!
