Achieving sustainable development

Policy CP1 in the Council's adopted Core Strategy seeks to achieve high quality sustainable development in the borough.

In support of achieving this policy, the Council has produced several technical guides on renewable energy technologies that potentially can be incorporated into developments.

These guides outline how the technology works, what the benefits are and when and where it is suitable. The guides also provide sign posts to organisations who can offer expertise and detailed practical advice, including information on available grants.
